Governance Structure

As a single-school multi-academy trust, our governance structure has been carefully designed to ensure clear responsibilities, effective oversight, and accountability at every level.

Our Members provide valuable strategic oversight and bring a wealth of governance and educational experience to the Trust, including two serving headteachers and a former Chair of Trustees.

Our Trustee Board comprises experienced and dedicated individuals who collectively bring a wide range of professional skills. Within the Education and Standards Committee, we are fortunate to have two former headteachers, an active SENDCo, and a former trained teacher, ensuring strong educational insight and challenge.

The Finance, Staffing, Estates and Audit Committee benefits from expertise across legal services, human resources, finance, procurement, and health and safety, providing robust scrutiny and informed decision-making.

We operate a four-phase governance cycle throughout the year, during which committees report formally to the full Trustee Board. Policies are reviewed and scrutinised at committee level before being presented for approval at Board meetings.

Our Members meet annually with representatives of the Trustee Board, including the Chair, to review the audited accounts and evaluate progress against the school’s strategic aims.

This structure ensures that governance within the Trust remains transparent, accountable, and focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for our pupils.
