    At Stanwix School, we offer a welcoming and flexible wraparound care service, led by our experienced team of play leaders. Our aim is to provide children with a safe, enjoyable and relaxed environment before and after the school day, while giving parents the flexibility they need.

    Breakfast Club

    Our Breakfast Club runs from 7:50am until the start of the school day at 8:50am.

    Children are welcomed by our friendly play leaders and can enjoy a healthy and nutritious breakfast in a relaxed environment before getting ready for the school day.

    • Drop-off from 7:50am
    • Session finishes at 8:50am, when the school day begins

    Breakfast Club: £4.50 per session

    Breakfast provided

    Children can choose from a selection of breakfast options, including:

    • Toast with butter or jam
    • A choice of cereal
    • Fruit yogurts
    • Apple juice
    • Orange juice
    • Water

    We want children to have a positive start to their morning, with a choice of breakfast options to suit different tastes. All allergy and dietary requirements are catered for. 

    After School Club

    Our After School Club runs after school until 6:00pm.

    Children are welcomed into our wraparound care setting where they can unwind after lessons, spend time with friends and enjoy a variety of activities in a relaxed and friendly environment.

    • Children are taken to after-school club from their class when school finishes
    • Collection is available at any time during the session
    • All children must be collected by 6:00pm

    After School Club: £7.50 per session

    After School Snacks

    Children are offered a selection of snacks and drinks, including:

    • Crackers with cheese, butter or jam
    • Yogurts
    • Fresh fruit
    • Breadsticks
    • Biscuits
    • Water
    • Blackcurrant squash (no added sugar)
    • Orange squash (no added sugar)

    Our snacks help ensure children have something tasty and refreshing to enjoy after a busy day at school. All allergy and dietary requirements are catered for. 

    Drop-Off and Pick-Up

    Our wraparound care facility is based in the school house, near the main reception entrance on Mulcaster Crescent. This is the designated location for parents and carers to drop off and collect their children.

    We offer a flexible service, so children can be dropped off or collected at any point during their booked session.

    The After School Club finishes promptly at 6:00pm.

    A £15 late collection charge will apply where a child is collected after 6:00pm. This charge reflects the additional operational costs incurred when staff are required to remain on site beyond the scheduled end of the session.

    Fun things to do at Wraparound

    We have created a welcoming environment with both indoor and outdoor spaces, giving children plenty of opportunities to play, explore and socialise.

    Activities and resources include:

    • Outdoor games and activities
    • Water play, weather permitting
    • Arts, crafts and creative activities
    • Baking
    • Pom-pom making
    • Puzzles and board games
    • Books and quiet activities
    • A wide range of toys and imaginative play resources
    • Computer time using pre-approved, age-appropriate apps

    We regularly introduce fun and creative activities, such as baking, crafting and making, while also ensuring children have plenty of time for free play and to spend time with their friends.

    Experienced and Caring Staff

    Our wraparound care is led by an experienced team of play leaders who are committed to providing a positive and enjoyable experience for every child.

    We aim to create an environment where children feel safe, valued and happy, with the freedom to choose activities that interest them and the encouragement to try something new.

    Whether they enjoy outdoor games, getting creative, baking, reading, playing games or simply chatting and spending time with friends, there is something for everyone.

    Bookings and Payments

    All wraparound care sessions must be booked in advance.

    Advance bookings allow us to plan staffing, activities and resources appropriately and ensure we can provide a safe and high-quality service for all children attending.

    Breakfast Club – £4.50 per session

    After School Club – £7.00 per session

    We accept Tax-Free Childcare vouchers, where eligible.

    Advance booking is required for all sessions.
